Key opinion
This film is viewed as a standard, albeit competent, shonen spectacle that offers brisk action but lacks the narrative weight to justify its existence as a feature film. While fans appreciate its pacing compared to other entries in the series, critics argue that the plot feels generic and secondary to the franchise's main canon.
| Pacing | The plot moves with a rapid, concise momentum that avoids the sluggish pacing found in other franchise entries. | |
| Originality | The film acts as a generic addition to the series, relying on familiar tropes rather than developing significant narrative depth. | |
| Cinematography | Opinions on visual quality are divided: some praise the execution of combat sequences, while others dismiss the animation and character designs as inferior to the series standard. | |
| Emotion | The emotional payoff is debated, with viewers split on whether the central themes of memory and connection provide a meaningful impact or remain superficial. | |
| Accessibility | Accessibility is limited, as the narrative requires prior knowledge of the series to understand the context and character motivations. |
