Key opinion
Blind War is a low-budget action film that succeeds as a functional genre piece for fans of stylized combat but suffers from a weak narrative and cartoonish characterizations. While the lead performance and fight choreography earn praise, the screenplay fails to integrate the protagonist's disability into the plot in a meaningful way.
| Cinematography | The fight sequences and shootouts are visually impressive, delivering high-energy action that defines the film's appeal. | |
| Acting | Andy On delivers a charismatic lead performance that anchors the film and highlights his genuine combat skills. | |
| Screenplay | The villains are depicted as one-dimensional caricatures, leaning heavily into exaggerated behaviors that undermine the film's tone. | |
| Screenplay | The protagonist's blindness feels like a superficial narrative device, as the film fails to make his condition feel essential to the plot's progression. | |
| Originality | Opinions on the film's quality are polarized: some viewers embrace it as an effective, mindless action flick, while others dismiss it due to its perceived lack of internal logic and tone inconsistencies. |
