Description
Elena Houghlin is a scientist, engineer and inventor of Calisto -- a sustainable energy source that will revolutionize the way people use power. It will be ready as soon as she works out the last issue, if not it could be turned into a dangerous weapon. But when the cutting edge technology is pushed to an investor before she can do that, Elena turns to the Townsend Agency for help. Now, it's up to the Angels -- Jane, Sabina, and the newly recruited Elena -- to retrieve Calisto before it can be transformed into a weapon of mass destruction.

Key opinion
Charlie's Angels (2019) is a divisive, popcorn-focused reboot that prioritizes aesthetic style and lighthearted energy over narrative substance. While audiences are sharply split on the film's tone and thematic approach, Kristen Stewart's performance remains a notable focal point, drawing both intense praise and skepticism.
| Screenplay | The screenplay suffers from a weak, illogical, and cliché-ridden narrative structure that feels boardroom-driven. | |
| Acting | Kristen Stewart delivers a standout performance that anchors the film for fans, even while others find her acting style unconvincing or wooden. | |
| Theme | The film functions as a light, mindless diversion for some, but is viewed by others as a shallow product that prioritizes political messaging over effective storytelling. | |
| Direction | Action sequences are competently shot but ultimately lack originality and memorable execution. | |
| Originality | The film succeeds as a breezy, fun-focused entertainment for viewers with low expectations, though it fails as a meaningful successor to the original franchise. |
