Key opinion
Dangerous is widely regarded as a low-budget, B-movie action thriller that suffers from an incoherent plot and uninspired execution. While a niche audience appreciates its straightforward, old-school sensibilities, most viewers find it predictable and marred by poor performances.
| Screenplay | The script is riddled with clichés and fails to maintain narrative logic, resulting in an incoherent story. | |
| Acting | Scott Eastwood struggles to carry the film, failing to match the screen presence or charisma expected of a lead actor in this genre. | |
| Acting | Mel Gibson's role as a phone-based psychiatrist feels disjointed and largely disconnected from the main action on the island. | |
| Originality | Opinions on the film's entertainment value are split; some viewers enjoy its B-movie, old-school action tropes, while others find the experience tedious and hollow. |
