Fury is a polarizing war drama that splits audiences between those who appreciate its grim, immersive depiction of tank warfare and those who find its narrative derivative and historically questionable. While the film’s technical craft and acting are frequently praised, its descent into Hollywood-style action tropes during the finale leaves many viewers disappointed.
| Acting | Logan Lerman delivers a standout performance that convincingly anchors the rookie's transformation. | |
| Production | The film excels in delivering visceral, high-tension combat sequences with immersive sound design and technical detail. | |
| Screenplay | The screenplay relies on one-dimensional character archetypes and dialogue that frequently feels clichéd or pompous. | |
| Ending | The final stand polarizes viewers: some find it a thrilling cinematic climax, while others reject it as an unrealistic, video-game-style departure from the film's earlier grit. | |
| Pacing | Opinions on the pacing are divided; some praise the balance of quiet, character-building moments and intense combat, while others find the middle section sluggish and the overall runtime excessive. |
