Key opinion
Kill 'em All is a low-budget action film that attempts to capitalize on 1990s nostalgia and Jean-Claude Van Damme's legacy. Ultimately, the film is widely criticized for its poor execution, incoherent narrative, and lackluster fight choreography that fails to live up to the standard of classic action cinema.
| Screenplay | The film suffers from a disjointed and hollow screenplay filled with unprofessional plot holes and uninspired twists. | |
| Editing | The technical presentation relies on excessive stylistic gimmicks like strobing and blurring to disguise structural incompetence. | |
| Originality | The film is deeply divisive; some viewers appreciate it as an affectionate homage to 90s-era action, while others dismiss it as an unnecessary, hollow cash-grab. | |
| Direction | Opinions on the combat sequences vary, with some finding the retro choreography satisfying for fans of the genre, while others find the staging mediocre and underwhelming. |
