Key opinion
Last Vegas is generally viewed as a lighthearted, life-affirming comedy that benefits significantly from the chemistry of its legendary cast. While some critics find the script predictable and the humor reliant on age-related clichés, audiences largely appreciate its sentimental tone and departure from the raunchier "Hangover"-style party film.
| Acting | The ensemble cast of veteran actors provides a strong, anchoring dynamic that makes the friendship between the protagonists feel authentic. | |
| Originality | The film succeeds in distinguishing itself from the "Hangover" franchise by favoring sentimental, life-affirming drama over purely vulgar antics. | |
| Screenplay | The plot is widely regarded as a straightforward, uncomplicated, and occasionally unremarkable narrative structure. | |
| Humor | Opinions on the humor are polarized; some find the age-related gags charming and refreshing, while others dismiss them as hollow, exaggerated, or reliant on predictable stereotypes. | |
| Acting | The performances are viewed by some as delightful and lively, while others argue the stars are merely coasting on their past reputations without genuine artistic depth. |
