Key opinion
Life of the Party is widely considered a forgettable and derivative comedy that relies heavily on well-worn tropes. While a minority of viewers appreciate its lighthearted message and female-centric perspective, most critics and audience members find the narrative disjointed and the humor lackluster.
| Screenplay | The screenplay relies on tired, unoriginal clichés that fail to provide a cohesive or engaging narrative structure. | |
| Direction | The direction is perceived as low-energy and generic, failing to elevate the material or land the comedic timing. | |
| Emotion | The film's emotional beats and character arcs are underdeveloped, resulting in a hollow experience. | |
| Originality | Opinions on the film's appeal are divided: some viewers find it a dull and disappointing waste of talent, while others value its motivational tone and positive message about female self-discovery. |
