Key opinion
Look Who's Talking Too is generally viewed as a lackluster follow-up that fails to recapture the spark of the original. While it maintains a family-friendly tone and consistent performances from its voice cast, the film is hampered by a recycled, formulaic script.
| Acting | The voice performances from Bruce Willis and Roseanne Barr remain the standout comedic element of the film. | |
| Screenplay | The film relies on a recycled and predictable marital-conflict plot that lacks the freshness of its predecessor. | |
| Production | The technical production remains entirely functional but lacks any visual or aesthetic growth, appearing bland and derivative. | |
| Acting | Opinions on the lead performances are divided; some critics feel Travolta and Alley deliver a believable, consistent effort, while others find them less committed compared to the first film. | |
| Originality | Critics are split on the sequel's overall quality, with some finding it a modest improvement or a successful continuation of the style, while others view it as clearly inferior and devoid of originality. |
