Key opinion
Meet the Spartans is widely regarded by critics as a vulgar, low-budget, and incoherent parody defined by cheap pop-culture gags and toilet humor. While the vast majority condemn it as a waste of time, a small subset of viewers find it to be a tolerable or even amusing experience when watched in a group setting.
| Production | The production design relies on transparently cheap sets, rubber costumes, and low-quality aesthetics that feel amateurish. | |
| Screenplay | The screenplay is consistently described as a disjointed series of vapid sketches that lack a coherent plot or narrative substance. | |
| Humor | The humor is heavily reliant on crude toilet jokes, vulgarity, and fleeting pop-culture references that critics find off-putting but some viewers find amusing for casual viewing. | |
| Acting | The acting is widely panned as catastrophic and talentless, though a minority of reviewers argue it successfully lampoons celebrity culture. |
