Description
Three young boys pool their money and pay V, a kindhearted prostitute, to strip for them. Afterward, she drives them home to the suburbs -- but then her car breaks down. It's just as well, though, because a mobster named Waltzer is after her, and V realizes the suburbs are the perfect place to hide. But things get a lot more complicated when V falls in love with Tom, a single father who is unaware of her real profession.

Key opinion
Milk Money is widely regarded as a lighthearted, cozy family dramedy that serves as a 90s-style fairy tale. While the film has faced criticism for its screenplay and thematic premise, many viewers find it a warm, pleasant viewing experience anchored by strong lead performances.
| Acting | Melanie Griffith delivers an organically charming and hopeful performance that anchors the film's fairy-tale narrative. | |
| Acting | Michael Patrick Carter provides a solid and pivotal turn as the young Frank, effectively capturing the character's curiosity. | |
| Acting | Ed Harris shines in a rare, soft-hearted, and non-military role that departs from his typical screen persona. | |
| Screenplay | The script is a point of contention; while some appreciate its gentle, cozy delivery, others criticize its lack of depth or consider it a failure, citing its Razzie nomination. | |
| Humor | Comedy elements divide opinion: some viewers find the humor superb and pleasant, while others feel the supporting comedic roles by Heche and McDowell fall flat. |
