Key opinion
Miracles from Heaven is a faith-based drama that deeply resonates with audiences seeking inspirational, family-oriented storytelling. While supporters praise the emotional performances and the film's wholesome message, critics find the religious themes polarizing and the narrative's conclusion regarding faith and suffering to be reductive.
| Acting | Jennifer Garner and Kylie Rogers deliver deeply moving and credible performances that ground the family's struggle. | |
| Theme | The film succeeds as a wholesome, family-friendly production that avoids the profanity and cynicism common in modern cinema. | |
| Cinematography | Visuals and cinematography effectively capture the story's earnest tone, though the soundtrack is occasionally distracting or ill-suited. | |
| Theme | The film's exploration of faith is viewed by some as an uplifting personal journey, while others condemn it as heavy-handed religious propaganda. | |
| Ending | The ending is divisive, with some finding it a powerful testament to hope and others viewing its implications about belief and survival as cynical or insulting. | |
| Humor | Attempts at comic relief, particularly through side characters, feel forced and tonally inconsistent with the dramatic core. |
