Key opinion
Neposlushnaya is widely criticized as a disjointed, poorly written attempt at an erotic drama that fails to replicate the depth or chemistry of its inspirations. While a small minority of viewers find it to be a watchable, visually striking melodrama, the majority consensus points to cardboard characters, incoherent plotting, and unconvincing romantic dynamics.
| Screenplay | The screenplay relies on a disjointed collection of tropes and clichés, including unnecessary subplots and sudden character shifts that lack narrative logic. | |
| Emotion | The erotic elements and intimate scenes are consistently described as ungraceful, mechanical, and lacking in psychological or romantic chemistry. | |
| Acting | Alexander Petrov’s performance is polarizing: some appreciate his attempt at a charismatic, mysterious role, while others find his portrayal hollow and unable to escape his previous screen image. | |
| Acting | Anastasia Reznik's portrayal of the heroine is frequently criticized for lacking range and authenticity, though a few viewers find her presence visually striking. | |
| Cinematography | Visual quality is a point of division: critics dismiss the cinematography as mediocre and messy, while some supporters praise the vibrant colors and aesthetic presentation of the nature scenes. |
