Key opinion

| Score | Joe Hisaishi’s musical score provides a soul-stirring and atmospheric foundation that enhances the film's magical world. | |
| Emotion | The film successfully channels a sense of nostalgic, innocent childhood wonder that resonates with audiences of all ages. | |
| Screenplay | The narrative is polarized: some laud its gentle, straightforward fairy-tale structure, while others find the storytelling too simple or lacking clear logical development in the final act. |
