Key opinion
Uwe Boll's 'Postal' is a highly polarizing cult film that functions as an absurd, transgressive black comedy rather than a traditional narrative. While critics often dismiss it as incoherent trash, supporters champion it as a brilliant, sharp-edged satire that successfully captures the spirit of its source material through chaotic, politically incorrect humor.
| Acting | Zack Ward delivers a perfectly calibrated performance as the downtrodden protagonist, capturing a unique blend of suppressed rage and humanity. | |
| Adaptation | The film mirrors the video game's design by prioritizing an atmosphere of absolute absurdity and grotesque violence over a traditional, linear plot. | |
| Humor | The satirical tone relies on offensive, politically incorrect humor that some view as fearless social critique and others dismiss as crude and meaningless. | |
| Screenplay | The incoherent and disjointed narrative structure is praised by fans as an intentional reflection of its chaotic source material, while detractors find it difficult to watch and devoid of meaning. |
