Key opinion
Princess is widely criticized as a disjointed and superficial effort that fails to justify its provocative subject matter. While it aims for an experimental blend of animation and live-action, reviewers generally find the execution amateurish and the narrative incoherent.
| Production | The film's crude and lifeless animation fails to achieve the aesthetic quality of professional anime or compelling art-house visuals. | |
| Screenplay | The characters lack depth, appearing as flat archetypes rather than fully realized human beings. | |
| Screenplay | The film suffers from a fragmented and illogical narrative structure that renders the story difficult to follow. | |
| Originality | The mix of animation, live-action, and amateur footage creates a jarring, disjointed experience that fails to deliver a cohesive artistic impact. | |
| Theme | While some argue the film lacks any real ethical grounding or deeper message, others suggest that whether the film functions as a cynical exploitation piece or an ineffective art-house experiment is a matter of viewer engagement. |
