Key opinion
Radius is a low-budget sci-fi thriller that earns praise for its high-concept premise and compelling, twist-heavy narrative. While opinions on the execution, pacing, and acting vary, the film is widely regarded as a solid piece of indie filmmaking that punches above its weight class.
| Originality | The film centers on a unique and thought-provoking premise that keeps viewers engaged despite its limited scale. | |
| Ending | The narrative culminates in a harsh, unexpected twist that effectively redeems the film's earlier flaws and lingering mysteries. | |
| Production | The low-budget production is managed competently, with minimal CGI and a small cast that do not detract from the overall viewing experience. | |
| Screenplay | The screenplay is praised by some for its philosophical depth and focus on identity, while others criticize it for being underdeveloped, empty, or reliant on cliché. | |
| Pacing | The contemplative, unhurried pacing rewards viewers who enjoy slow-burn mystery, but leaves others feeling the film is boring or lacks tension. | |
| Acting | Performances are viewed as a highlight by some for their emotional resonance, while others find the acting to be mediocre or unremarkable. |
