Key opinion
Snatched is widely considered a disappointing and poorly executed comedy that relies on crude, low-brow humor rather than genuine wit. While Goldie Hawn's return to the screen offers a touch of nostalgic charm, the film is hampered by a predictable, aimless script and lackluster direction.
| Humor | The film relies on cheap, crude, and consistently unfunny jokes that fail to land with the audience. | |
| Screenplay | The script is criticized for its predictable, aimless narrative and lazy reliance on tired cliches regarding mother-daughter dynamics. | |
| Acting | Goldie Hawn provides a sense of nostalgic comfort and charm, though it is not enough to save the film. | |
| Acting | Opinions on Amy Schumer’s performance are split; some viewers find her presence natural and confident, while others find her acting to be over-the-top, irritating, and poorly suited to the material. |
