Key opinion
The film is generally regarded as a lighthearted, visually glossy action-comedy that blends martial arts with vampire folklore. While opinions on the narrative coherence and humor vary, it is widely recognized for its entertaining choreography and the charismatic, albeit brief, presence of Jackie Chan.
| Acting | Jackie Chan’s cameo provides an injection of effective, high-energy physical comedy. | |
| Direction | The action choreography and fight sequences are consistently praised for their entertainment value and integration of kung-fu elements. | |
| Originality | The film suffers from aggressive and misleading marketing, particularly regarding Jackie Chan's role and localized title changes. | |
| Screenplay | The screenplay is inconsistently executed, oscillating between coherent genre fusion and fragmented, illogical storytelling. | |
| Humor | The humor is polarizing, with some finding it delightfully silly and others dismissing it as flat or overly childish. |
