Key opinion
Tin Soldier is widely considered a failure, suffering from a disorganized narrative and poor technical execution. Despite the inclusion of a talented cast and an intriguing premise regarding extremist groups, the final product is described as a disjointed and visually unappealing mess.
| Screenplay | The screenplay is chaotic and fails to explain its own narrative beats despite a lengthy development period. | |
| Cinematography | The technical presentation is poor, characterized by dark, blurry visuals and unconvincing CGI. | |
| Theme | The film attempts to explore a culturally relevant theme by mirroring real-world extremist groups, but fails to capitalize on the concept. | |
| Acting | The acting performances are decent but are ultimately wasted due to the film's significant structural and technical flaws. |
