Key opinion
Vampires Suck functions as a polarizing satire of the Twilight saga that succeeds primarily for viewers who enjoy mocking the original source material. While critics and audiences largely criticize the script for its reliance on recycled gags and crude humor, many acknowledge the lead performances as surprisingly accurate and dedicated caricatures.
| Acting | Jenn Proske’s physical performance is widely praised for its uncanny and precise imitation of Kristen Stewart’s mannerisms. | |
| Production | The film effectively captures the visual aesthetics and production design of the original Twilight movies, lending the parody an authentic look. | |
| Humor | The humor is divisive: supporters find the satire of the saga's absurdity genuinely hilarious, while detractors dismiss it as low-effort, repetitive, and overly reliant on bathroom gags. | |
| Screenplay | The screenplay is viewed as lacking original wit, with critics arguing that it relies too heavily on superficial synonym-swapping rather than clever subversion. | |
| Pacing | Opinions on pacing are split; some find the tight runtime keeps the energy high, whereas others feel the film is a disjointed collection of scenes rather than a cohesive story. |
