Однако этот идеальный мир не так идеален. Три девушки, решив возразить тоталитарной доброте и «сверхмедицине», пытаются покончить с собой путем голодовки, но у них ничего не выходит. Повзрослев, одна из них — Туан Кири — вступает во Всемирную Организацию Здравоохранения.
