Описание
Послевоенные годы. У полицейского Горо Мураками в автобусе крадут пистолет. В поисках пропавшего оружия он вынужден посетить многие районы Токио, побывать в тайных притонах, трущобах, на пустырях. А в это время похищенным пистолетом совершаются несколько убийств. Горо одержим идеей ответственности за все эти преступления. Преступник, которого он выслеживает, как и он оказывается бывшим солдатом. Горо размышляет, как он бы поступил, оказавшись в подобных обстоятельствах.
